The Dentist

We love our dentist.... he is just so nice.

But he gives us goofy smiles!

Happy 24th!

Boys and fireworks go together like milk and cookies!

Grandma Dean purchased a large stack of fireworks!!!  We sure had a great time!

Brooke, Rick and Bryn joined in on the celebration.  They got all snuggled up in the back of their car of the firework show!

The Kids were gone...

The boys were gone to their dads, so Niel and made the best of it.  Mostly, we just went out to eat!

We did a little shopping.  I earned my Michael Kors wallet!!

And we went out to the Spanish Fork Rodeo!

Sadly, we also lost our little mouse protector.  I guess that is what happens when the kids are gone, Lucy must have felt so lonely she decided to leave.  No boys to keep her company!

Quick Idaho Road Trip

The boys headed to Idaho to visit their dad.  Conner stayed back a couple of days so Niel and I drove him down.

Check out these incredibile Western Skies!  The drive was beautiful!

It's been forever since I have seen Heather!  Her and I were "Best Cousins" growing up!  She lives with her cute family in Pocatello.  It was SO great to stop and visit for a little while!  

Lacrosse

Lacrosse has been incredible this year.

Conner dominated once again on the field.  He even got called a bully at one of the games.  He is just so tough!

It was Garrett's first year playing Lacrosse.  He told me he likes it almost as much as football!  He is very physical on the field.  He had to go to the penalty box a couple of times.... that is a good thing, it means you are playing tough!

Stocky is a incredible defender!  He does well in helping out the goalie and making points too.  He got to play goalie a couple of times this year.  He sure has gotten fast and looks great!

Lacrosse is no fun without fans!  Grandma Dean came to almost every game.  That is saying something because it has been SO FREAKING out this year!  Thanks for coming and supporting us this year!

The Drive-In

Most of the boys had never been to a Drive-In before.  I remember as a kid it was one of my most favorite things to do!

We loaded up the kids, the mattress and some goodies!

The boys played a bunch of different games while we were waiting for the movie to start.

In this game, you tried to see how many Hot Tamales you could eat in 1 minute.

We had plenty of sugar to keep ourselves happy!

I guess Niel and I are just a little too old to stay up late.  Both him and I feel asleep half way through the first show.  We ended up going home after the first movie so we could drive home safe....haha!

5K's ... or close enough!

This summer we have participated in several 5K's!

The first one was the Blood Run!

Me, Stocky, Zander, and Garrett all ran the 1 mile.  Niel, Conner and Jerin were the tough ones.  They did the 5K!

We also participated in the 3 Key Elements 5K!  The course was measured incorrectly, but that didn't matter.  It ended up being about 2 miles.  This was fine by me because Zander ran it.  It was LONG enough for him!  But we all finished and were proud of ourselves!

Conner did so well.... he actually took 2nd place overall!

Quail Fire

The mountain just near our home caught fire!!  It was far enough away that we were not in any danger. Many homes on the other side of the road had to be evacuated several times.

The fire burned for several days.  It finally rained, which ended up putting this fire out along with others that were burning in Utah!

Fourth of July!

We skipped the parade this year and decided to go to breakfast instead.  We all LOVE breakfast food!  We ate at Village Inn!  YUM!!

Next we headed to Seven Peaks.... formally known as Raging Waters!

We had a blast!!

Ang and Pat had the entire family over for a BBQ!  The kids played games with each other while the adults chatted.

We participated in the Cul-de-Sac of fire.... which was awesome!  A bunch of Ang's neighbors get together and put together a small fireworks show and a dance.

It was a really great holiday!
