First Game!

We had our first football games. The first two parts are Stockton breaking through the line and forcing the quarterback into a quick throw. Stockton played his best game yet. He continued to break through the line. Stockton's team won 30 - 0

Garrett played almost the entire game. He played quarterback for almost all of the game. He looked AWESOME! He made the two touchdowns of the game. He even made some great tackles!!! I was one proud mom!!! They lost by one touchdown.... but man, it was a fun game to watch!!

Back to School.... all ready!

It seems hard to believe the kids are back in school. Megan started school yesterday. The 7th graders went to school a day before everyone else. She seems to have had a good day!

Conner is in 6th grade this year. Stockton is in 4th grade. Garrett is in 2nd grade. Zander doesn't start school until next week.

Welcome back!

It's Started

Our busy lives just got even busier. But man.... we love it! It is our favorite time of year.

FOOTBALL SEASON!

Garrett is playing Quarterback a little this year. Do you see number 34? Yep... that's him!

He has some amazing throwing abilities! This throw landed right in the arms of the running back! It was sweet!!

He runs well with the ball too. He got about 30 yards on this run! He is speedy!

Stocks is playing defensive line this year. He is paying attention to the plays and breaking through the line.

Stocks is the "Sumo Champ" on the team. No one can get him down.

Conner is starting running back on the 6th grade A team. His speed surprised everyone this year.... I think even him. He is excited to be running the ball this year!!

It is different to see him out on the field rather then on the line. He is the guy right behind the line an in front of the guy in the back.

It is going to be a fun year this year! Even I am learning a lot this year!

Is this the same boy?

This is proof that I am getting shorter!

Conner looks so different from a year ago. He isn't a boy anymore.... I am going to have to say "young man"!!!

Happy Birthday week to Conner

Happy 12th birthday Conner!

Kallie gave Conner an awesome present! She let him take Caleb to Raging Waters for a day! They had a blast together!!
(Thanks Kallie)

This was Conner's birthday cake. Conner had football try-out and weigh ins the week of his birthday, so upon Conner's request we didn't get him cake this year. Instead, we got him this beautiful, healthy fruit bowl. He said it was delicious!

Conner is growing up so big and tall. He is such a handsome young man. We had a great time together taking pictures.

The title of the above pictures is "I am a tough running back.... oh yes I am!" It is his football face.

I say this every year.... but man, I can't believe he is another year older. Conner can make me laugh when no one else can. He is such a gentleman all ready, and he is only 12. He is smart and nice. He is thoughtful and sure of himself. He is a delight to have in our family.

Happy Birthday Conner.... I love you!

Conner - a deacon

Today was a beautiful, special day. Conner was ordained a Deacon. WOW!

Many thoughts come to my mind when I think of what a fine young man he is. I feel incredibly blessed and thank Heavenly Father for allowing me to be his mom. I am lucky!

Jammin in the PJ's

Zander LOVES music! He loves to sing! He loves to dance!! He loves to JAM!

Check out this funny clip. He even stops for a minute when the girl sings because, "I can't sing girl parts..... I am not a girl!"

Best Parade Ever!

Garrett got to participate in the Highland Parade this year with his football team. His team were the Champions for the 1st and 2nd grade age group last season!

Each of the big football boys had water guns to squirt the crowd and candy to throw. Gar was so excited!!!
The rest of the family got to experience the parade first hand. Cosmo was out on the streets for high fives!!

Stockton got his shot at breaking a brick with his fists. He broke it right in two with one punch!

Garretts group weren't the only ones with water. We all got sprayed plenty of times. It felt so good in the hot sun!

We also got SO much candy! It was like early Halloween time. We had so much candy, we could barely make it back to the car with it all. Of course, Stockton found a way to make it happen.

It was the best parade we have ever been to, hands down. Next year, we will come with empty pillow cases for the candy!
Way! Way!! FuN!

Happy 24th!

Boys and Fireworks!

Don't get me wrong, I love fireworks.... but for some reason the boys love to light them. They had a blast and I got a good firework show!

I guess I shouldn't say ALL boys like fireworks. Big, Tough Zander wouldn't come outside to watch or even participate. He told me he would rather do to bed.... so he went to bed early that night!

SO COOL!

Garrett's little feet got all dirty. I guess that is another thing that go hand in hand together.... boys and dirt!

We had a nice night together lighting fireworks and enjoying the holiday! Happy Pioneer Day!
