Zanders Baptism

"This is the best day of my life"  .... says Zander!

What a great day it was!  Niel Baptized him and Grandpa Dean confirmed him

Three other boys from our ward were also baptized.  Tanner Horton, Kristian Miner, & Thomas Lines.

Bishop Badger was presiding... who Zander just loves because he is always giving him candy.

Uncle Patrick said the opening prayer.  Megan, Conner, Stockton, Garrett, and Zander himself sang "Choose the Right" along with the other siblings of those who were baptized.  I accompanied them!

Uncle Patrick and Grandpa Dean were witnesses.... and yes, he was washing cleaned in one attempt.

Bishop Badger, Grandpa Dean, Niel, Uncle Patrick, and Brother Vermasson (Zander's primary teacher) all stood in the circle when he was confirmed.

And below are all the wonderful people who attended the joyous event!

We went to Shakey's to celebrate!

It was a perfect, beautiful day.... a little chilly outside, but incredible.  It was so incredible in fact that Zander fell asleep on the drive home!

Mr. Organized

Garrett has always been the most organized person in the family.  Here is just a picture of his top drawer (notice how the underwear are all stacked like how you would see at a clothing store).

And below is a little video as he explains how his dresser is all set up!

Easter 2012

On the actual Easter Sunday, all the boys except for Conner were with their dad, so we celebrated Easter a week later!  Good think the Easter Bunny was willing to come back for a special visit!

Bryn, Grandma and Grandpa Dean came over with a big basket full of goodies.  Jerin and Conner were on a sugar high for a week!

The boys still love coloring eggs!  I enjoy the family time and their incredible creativity!

 Happy Easter!!

Washington DC

Niel got to go to Washington DC with his work to pick up the 1940 Census.  He was nice enough to let me tag along!  We had a great time!!

We visited all the historical sites!  Niel had never been and he just loves history, so he was all smiles the entire trip!

We drove out to see Gettysburg.  Incredible to drive around and see the actual war sites!

We visited the Arlington Cemetery.

We walked all around.  We went to several of the Smithsonians.  We could have spent a week just looking at all the cool things in all the museums.

We walked up to the capital and the white house!

We even took a break one of the days were were there and went to Six Flags!

It was nice and windy nearly every day we were there.  Windy enough to fly kites.  The day we went downtown to the mall there were people all over the place flying their kites... it was really pretty!

We didnt' find any amazing food while we were there.... but there were some pretty good places!

We had a great trip together!!!
