Happy Birthday Zander!

It is crazy how quickly time flies by.  Zander is now offically 8 years old!

We started off the day with breakfast in bed... YUM!

He got a new bike for his birthday this year!!  He went to the store and picked out just the right one!

We went to Pizza Factory to celebrate with the family!  It's always so much fun having cousins, aunts, uncles and especially Grandparents to celebrate with!  My camera didn't take very good pictures that night, but there were lots of people there to celebrate with us!!

Boondocks with Instructure

I got a new job!  Yeah!!!  After 5 and half wonderful years with LANDesk, I moved to a new company called Instructure.  I am looking forward to some new and exciting adventures.

Instructure had a work party and I was invited!  I actually went to the work party before I even started working there... which was awesome!  They took us to Boondocks!

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games was a big event for our family!  We had all read the book and were anxiously waiting to see the movie.  We watched it on the Mammoth screen.... and we all LOVED it!

Conner for President!

Conner ran for Student Body President! He had to make a poster and a video for his campaign. He did such a great job and I had so much fun helping him! Unfortunately, he didn't win President, but he did make the Student Body team. He will be working on the video products and school announcements! Way to go Conner!!

Happy St. Paddy's Day

The little Leprechaun come for a quick visit at our house. He left a trail of candy and some yummy Apple Jacks.

Got to love Saint Patrick's Day.... even if we aren't wearing green.

Fishing the Green with G!

Gar got to go on his very first fishing trip to the Green River! Garrett, Niel, and Grandma and Grandpa J were all along for the adventure.

I have never seen a fish this big on the Green before! Holy Big Fish!!

Aunt Marilyn let everyone stay at her house the night before. Garrett said she makes the best pancakes EVER! He also enjoyed a fun new game!

Farewell to Sweden

Grandma and Grandpa J had their farewell. They are nearly ready to leave to Sweden to serve their second mission.

Check out all the heights of each of the kids. I would bet that in 18 months there will be some difference there.

Grandma and Garrett spent some time together earlier this morning to make a big pot of Sweddish Meatballs. It is one of Garrett's favorite meals. Grandma taught him how to make them so while they are away Garrett came make them!

I know what I will miss most..... Grandma J's delicious food. YUM!

The snow this year hasn't been that great! In fact, it has been so sparse that this was our second attempt at tubing. The first time the snow wasn't slick enough, so we went back home. On our second attempt, the snow still wasn't very good, but we figured we better try it anyway. The hills were fun. We could only go down part way and then the tube would stop. We would then have to stand up and run for the next section of the hill. It wasn't so bad though. It meant that the hill was pretty vacant. We pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Cleaning the Church

It was our turn to clean the church! The boys are SUPER good about these kinds of things. Everyone wants to pitch right in and get the job done. They are super good cleaners too!!

Happy Valentines Day!

Got to love a day to celebrate LOVE!

Good morning to my most favorite people in the entire world!! I love our tradition of making Valentines Breakfast!!!

The boys had fun putting together their Valentines for their friends. Gar decided to do a toy this year instead of candy. It was a big hit!

Have a Super Valentines Day

Niel took me out to celebrate a day of love. He sent me roses to work and told me to bring them home because we would need them for the night. He took me to my old work place, Courtyard at Jamestown, where we passed out roses to as many people as we could find. It was fun to watch the expressions on their faces. They were so happy to get a flower. Then we went to the mall and people watched. We looked for people who were in love..... or hanging out together. It was a super fun night! We even went to Chick-fil-a, which is my favorite! We had a fun time out together!

Birthday Dinner!

We have lots of family members with Birthdays in the month of February. I wish we could get together separately for each birthday, but it didn't turn out that way. So.... we all got together and celebrated with one big event.

Happy birthday to Patrick, Brooke, and Grandpa Dean!

... oh and Happy Anniversary to my Mom and Dad!!! 37 years is something to celebrate!

Lately....

We have been keeping busy with plenty of things (as usual)!

Gar and Zander have been working hard in school. They both have made our family ATEAM activity every week. Way to go boys!!! In order to go on the ATEAM activity, they have to have very good grades. They choose dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe!

Stocky has had many school projects. He completed his science project and also a project on a famous person. He picked Arnold Schwarzenegger as his famous person. He did an excellent job of getting everything done.

Conner had the assignment of putting together a picture of all his favorite things. I thought he was pretty creative. This pretty much describes Conner. I thought this also captured the fun, well - rounded person he is!

Niel has been doing lots of things around the house lately. I have really appreciated all the new, exciting home improvements he have all got to enjoy as a family. Thanks Niel!
